The CIS-600 mobile platform contains a high-performance GPS receiver and a GSM communication module in a single case.

It provides all the functionality of a modem, and also acquires GPS positions by means of an extended series of AT commands. At the same time, it facilitates the reporting of GPS positions using GSM communication, while adding the functionality of a positioning device allowing control from a remote base.

This GPS increases the system’s power by offering a series of commands specific to a GPS receiver: position, satellites, channels...

-	Operation in GSM telephone modem mode, reading and monitoring of GPS data via the GSM control port, using an enhanced set of AT commands.
-	Operation as a GPS positioning device, transmitting the data to a Management Centre using the GSM modem.
-	Capable of reporting on position using three different mechanisms:   - Polling, in response to a position query.   - Tracking Cycle, setting a cycle, in order to have the positioning device send your position automatically.   - Event Alarms, when an event occurs, the positioning device will immediately send the position and the reason for the notification
-	Logging data capabilities. Records data in a variable time lap and field configuration.
-	Power Savings mode allows drawing as little as 12 mA in full GSM mode.
