CIS Fleet Management Client Solution for automatic vehicle tracking system, is a cartographic and fleet management control tool that remotely monitors position and routes of moving vehicles with GPS positioning devices.

This tool uses CIS’s proprietary Fleet Control Center (CCF), connected via TCP/IP, to a management application with a Microsoft MapPoint cartographic engine. Real time data from vehicles on geographical position, time, speed, alarms and other are processed by the CCF management software and reported in the desired form.

The management of this information provides important advantages in logistic and security applications such as reduction in service times, response improvements, decision time, tracking of mobile units, resource allocation control, alternate route analysis…

The client application is a Microsoft Windows driven software designed to be easily installed on a standalone PC computer, offering wide-ranging and low-cost updated cartography and capabilities for fleet management, route calculation, recorded vehicular data downloading, route reproduction, reports. It can also be installed in a multi-user/multi-site environment as visual client for a centralized information server. Distributed systems for location based application can be deployed using this user interface component connected to CCF Communication server.
