Silk Wing

SILK is a family of ram-air wings specially designed for use in powered parachute vehicles up to 500 kg MTOW ranging from 270 sq.ft to 500 sq.ft. A rectangular shape with an aspect ratio of 3.25 ensures a good lift to drag performance ratio that combined with the ease of flight and soft input control and forgiving behavior of the SILK, generates a flight sensation on the powered parachute pilot that make the SILK family of wings delicious to fly from day one.

Its clean design makes possible a broad flight envelope with high levels of finesse combined with high stability and maneuverability that make the aircraft take-off and climb at good rates and still allow for easy and controlled landing sequence and gentle touchdown.
