Aerial Delivery
Precision Aerial Delivery

Sherpa Hi Glide Ram Air Parachute Delivery System is a parachute load delivery system capable of accurate delivery of light payloads from a wide range of altitudes and stand off distances.

Payload configurations up to 250 kg, 500 kg and 1,000 kg can be dropped from altitudes up to 10,000 m MSL, far away from the intended delivery target point, and automatically guided to within 100m of the desired landing spot.

CIMSA Ingenieria de Sistemas has designed and manufactures a family of ram-air canopies specially suited for the performance and durability required in the rugged conditions encountered around load delivery missions.

The Sherpa Control Unit guides the parachute automatically using GPS, or, if required, can home in on a remotely activated UHF beacon placed at the target site. Additionally, can also be guided manually by a trained operator on the ground. Guidance modes may be changed on the fly.

CIMSA Ingeniería de Sistemas has partnered with MMIST from Canada to offer an off-the-shelf rugged system to fulfill a broad range of operational mission requirements.
